The World Lottery Association

WLA provides members with a global platform for sharing expertise, technological innovation, industry intelligence and marketing concepts. We provide guidance and best practices covering combatting illegal betting and match fixing, responsible marketing of sports and horse betting, CSR for lotteries, protecting IP for multijurisdictional and individual lotteries.

The WLA Code of Conduct provides a framework describing how WLA members can distribute their services via electronic commerce, respecting the boundaries of the law as well as the moral, fiscal, and public order objectives underlying legislation on gaming, while offering consumers guarantees that best efforts will be made to comply with the highest standards of consumer protection.

The WLA By-laws set provide the legal basis and framework for the association. They prescribe the name and legal status of the association, designate the signing authority, describe the association's aims and objectives, stipulate the WLA's structure, present the qualifications necessary for membership, set out voting rights and procedures, and generally specify the rights and responsibilities of the association.
